The Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering is pleased to officially open the "Perini Construction Engineering & Management Laboratory located in building B of the Thomas T. Beam Engineering Complex.
Perini Building Company joined forces with the college, UNLV's Planning and Construction offices, and 12 community partners to establish the laboratory for the Construciton Management Program.
Dean Eric Sandgren recognized all donors at the October 15 dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony. "The students are overwhelmed with the generosity of the community. For them to have their own lab, means they can apply their classroom knowledge to real world problems," stated Eric Sandgren, Ph.D., dean of the college.
