The Robots have arrived

Happy Birthday FIRST Las Vegas!

Officially, it is robot season.  Forty-eight teams from across the country, Germany, the Netherlands, and yes from Las Vegas kick-off the "2009 LUNACY" game this weekend.  UNLV's Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering is proud to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of this event and will continue serving as hosts for the event.

Competition begins Friday, March 27 at 8:45 a.m. concluding at 4:00 p.m.  Play will resume on Saturday, March 28 at the Thomas and Mack Center at 9:00 a.m. with finals beginning at 1:00 p.m. The event will conclude by 3:00 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.  Tours are available. 

If you wish to take a tour, please no open toe or heel shoes are allowed.  Safety glasses will be furnished at the time you request a tour.

Live broadcasts will be featured on Friday,  3/27 morning shows-TV Channels 3 and 8.
