Lower-Division Classes
As a student in our program, your first two years’ courses that satisfy the university’s general education curriculum requirements plus introductory classes on basic construction topics.
Upper-Division Classes
The curriculum in your last two years focuses on construction engineering and management topics as well as on construction sciences courses.
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management — Management Option
Prepares you for professional practice as a construction manager. Provides a well-rounded educational background in business, construction management and science, liberal arts, management, mathematics, and college physics. The program emphasizes construction science courses that are for the most part noncalculus-based.
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management — Engineering Science Option
Prepares you for professional practice as a construction manager. The engineering science option allows you to develop engineering-level skills that suit your desire and may be beneficial in employment in heavy/civil construction, industrial construction, and infrastructure construction and with electrical and mechanical specialty contractors. Differential, integral, and multidimensional calculus and engineering science are emphasized and prepare the student for graduate engineering course work.
